Barring catastrophe, I’ll read a lot more this summer than this list. Books I’m proofreading, beta reading, writing, or reviewing for a particular purpose. Some nonfiction books, some spiritual reading, and books I read to or with my kids. But these books are the ones I want to get to this summer, just for me! I’m thinking of also adding a re-read of Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With the Wind to the list because it’s been far too long.
What must-read book should I add to this list? (If you can’t tell, Christian or clean romance is my favorite, but I love books outside of those genres too.)
Gentleman Jack by Mimi Matthews
Let It Be Me by Becky Wade
Molly by Sarah Monzon
Pudge and Prejudice by A.K. Pittman
The Spice King by Elizabeth Camden
Under the Magnolias by T.I. Lowe

I haven’t read any of these! Just purchased “Molly” and “Under the Magnolias” and requested “Pudge and Prejudice” from the library (LOVE the Library extension for Chrome).
As you know, I made little reading progress on vacation, but I’m so looking forward to reading these. Tell me more about this library Chrome extension.
There is a Chrome extension called “Library Extension.” You install it, and it asks you to set it up for your local library. Then when you go to Amazon or Goodreads and look at a book, it displays whether it is available at your library and in what format. You can click right through to reserve it there. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/library-extension/chkgcmmjoejpekoegkedcpifgfhpjmec?hl=en
So far, read “Molly” and it’s a good one!
I am currently reading Plot Twist. I have Jewel of the Nile, Castle of Refuge, The Amish Quilmaker’s Unruly In-laws, A Lady in Attendance, Along a Storied Trail, and Amish Country Threats on my June list to read. I have not read any of the ones on your list, but several of them are also on my TBR list!
I’ve seen Plot Twist a lot lately. I hope you enjoy it!
